Ice Cube Confirms N.W.A. Reunion At Coachella 2016

N.W.A. could be taking the stage for the first time in years at the upcoming Coachella 2016.

Rapper/actor, Ice Cube, made the revelation during a sit down with The Talk last Friday.

“I’m gonna try to bring the members of N.W.A together—come with me on the stage,” Cube said. “Give everybody a little history lesson on Ice Cube and N.W.A, Westside Connection, everything I’ve been doing over the years.”

Last summer Cube tried to pull together the entire N.W.A. for a performance at the BET Experience in L.A. but Dr. Dre was not present. Hopefully he will join the rest of the group on stage at Coachella.

Ice Cube is currently enjoying some success after his new film Ride Along 2 debut at the top of the Box Office last weekend.

N.W.A. rose to fame in the early 1990s and was disbanded by 1995 following the death of Eazy-E. The group saw a resurgence following their blockbuster biopic last year Straight Outta Compton. They will also be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April.
