Nikci Minaj and Chris Brown

Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown can look forward to a few more trophies this award season with the two leading the 2015 BET Awards nominations.

Both Nicki and Brown received six nominations each ahead of the June 28 awards show live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

Nicki Minaj is the clear front runner in the female category for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist. She was also nominated on major categories including Video of the Year, Coca-Cola Viewers’ Choice Award, and Best Group for her ties with Young Money.

Chris Brown also got nods in major categories including Best Collaboration, Coca-Cola Viewers’ Choice Award, Video of the Year, and Best Male R&B/Pop Artist.

Other artists who received multiple nominations includes Lil Wayne, Beyonce, who received four nominations a piece. Usher, Sam Smith, and Big Sean also received multiple nominations.
