Gyptian Name His All-Time Five Favorite Reggae Love Songs

Gyptian is one of the newer generations of reggae love songs class under lovers rock.

Lovers rock is the reggae version of R&B music. Since the 1970s and 80s a slew of reggae artists have catapult the popularity of lovers rock including Beres Hammond, Gregory Isaacs, Ken Boothe, Sanchez and more.

Gyptian was among a handful of artists who revive roots reggae and lovers rock at the turn of the new millennium. But if you asked him where he gets his inspirations from he would take you back to the 1980s.

Speaking with The Fader, Gyptian named his all-time favourite five reggae love songs.
