Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore has broken her silence on her fight with Porsha Williams on set the taping of the reunion episode.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion episode was aired on Bravo on Sunday night and footage from the fight was also aired.
Kenya Moore told PEOPLE that other cast members made disparaging statements about her but she did not resort to violence.
“There are many inflammatory statements made by cast members to and about each other particularly during the reunion tapings,” Moore said in a statement. “Many have made untrue, denigrating, disparaging, and inflammatory statements against me in an attempt to provoke me, but I have never reacted in a violent way. If people get so angry that they lose control and admittedly ‘black out’ and resort to violence, those persons must be held responsible for their actions.”
During the show, Kenya used a bull horn to speak directly to Porsha accusing her of cheating on her ex-husband. Porsha got angry and grabbed Kenya’s hair and pulled her to the ground.
The two women were then separated. Kenya Moore, who has pressed charged against Porsha Stewart for the beat down, says she will not be dropping the charges and will let the authorities decide Porsha’s fate.
“The authorities will decide her fate, not me,” Kenya Moore said.
