Mavado, Sizzla Featured On Rick Ross New Album Mastermind

Mavado continues to make strides in the mainstream music market with another top collaboration under his belt.

The Gully Gad and Sizzla Kalonji will be featured on Rick Ross new album Mastermind, due in stores on March 4.

Rick Ross enlist Mavado and Sizzla for a track on the album titled “Mafia Music 3.”

Mavado says working with Rick Ross was easy because he is like family.

“Rick Ross is family, straight,” Mavado said. “Even though we are on different labels, him and Khaled have been rolling from day one, so we always around each other at the studio or events, or just hanging out. Khaled called Julian and said they found the record they want Mavado on and we knocked it out same time in the studio. “The exposure it brings across the board – airplay, on the net, in print, to new ears in the industry, is priceless.”

The “So Special” deejay also said the single has been getting huge response since making its debut earlier this week.

“Mafia Music III had one of the best responses when it was played,” Vado said. “It was in a theatre and each record was accompanied by visuals, on a big screen, relevant to the song being played. The images of Jamaica, Mavado and old gangsters, complemented the song perfectly and the crowd was jumping out of their seats when it was playing.”

Mavado is also busy in the studio working on his new album, due later thsi year.

The dancehall heavy weight also has a slew of new singles on rotation on dancehall airwaves worldwide.
