Chris Brown could be staying in rehab for a little longer but its far less than going to jail.
The “Fine China” singer escape jail time when a judge turned down Los Angeles Deputy District Attorney Mary Murray request to have the singer thrown in jail.
Murray cites new evidence obtained in the Washington D.C. assault case as grounds to have Chris Brown served some jail time. According to the Deputy D.A., Brown would have violated his probation in his 2009 assault case involvement ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
But Chris Brown lawyer argued that his client as been making great progress in rehab and should stay there.
