Vybz Kartel Trial Trial Day 27 Live Updates: Jury, Media Back In Court

Vybz Kartel and his co-accused are back in the Home Circuit court today where their ongoing murder trial continues to take shape.

The accused men are on trial for the alleged murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams, who police say was beaten to death on August 16, 2011 at a house in Havendale belonging to Vybz Kartel.

After over two weeks absent from the courtroom, the jury and the media are now allowed back in court.

This follows the behind closed door testimony of former head of the Jamaica Constabulary Force’s Cybercrime Unit, Patrick Linton.

The prosecution main witness is also expected to take back the witness stand before the trial wraps up in the coming days.

Justice Lennox Campbell met with the juror and defense attorneys after an alleged misconduct.

The judge ruled that the allegations will not affect the trial proceedings and says he is satisfied with the explanation.
