The dancehall Energy God appeared before a judge last week but the trial did not get off the ground as planned due to a missing case file.

If prosecutors failed to bring a case against the deejay before the court at the next hearing, the judge might throw out the case.
Elephant Man was arrested an charged last year for grievous sexual assault after a female filed a police report claiming that the deejay sexually assaulted her at his home in St. Andrew.
Elephant Man has maintained his innocence.
