Vybz Kartel Trials Continues Today In Jamaica High Court

Adidja Palmer, Vybz Kartel government name, and his co-accused will be back in court today to continue their high profile trial.

The oft-delayed trial got off the ground last week in the Home Circuit Court in Kingston.

Last week the prosecution introduced a number of police officers to the witness stand including a retired assistance commissioner of police and senior superintendent of police Cornwall “Bigga” Ford.

Vybz Kartel legal team will continue their cross-examination of a some of these witnesses today.

Two civilian witnesses also took the stand last week one of which is a former girlfriend of the victim and the other his sister, who got emotional while answering questions.

The aced dancehall star is on trial for the alleged murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams.

He is jointly charged with Shawn “Storm” Campbell, Kahira Jones, André St John, and Shane Williams.

The prosecution exonerated another co-accused, Calvin “Moonie” Haye, of the charge last week.

If convicted the accused men could be sentenced to up to 25 years in prison.
