Timberlee Tackles Europe

Having been off the scene for a while, dancehall diva Timberlee has returned from her musical hiatus.

Timberlee who took time off from her career to complete her studies abroad said the time off was necessary but she has missed the dancehall scene and is back full time to deliver quality dancehall tracks.

Immediately upon her return, the Bubble Like Soup singer embarked on European tour appeasing fans who have longed to see her in action.

“The moment school ended I was back at it. I spent a few weeks last month doing shows in North, South, East and West of France. I also did shows in Austria and Sicily,” Timberlee said, also noting the reception she received had been tremendous. “Being on the road performing and touring has become second nature to me, but it was just overwhelming to see how happy people were to see me and how welcoming they were. That is the greatest joy as an entertainer.”

This month, Timberlee is back in France to do shows in Paris, Toulouse, Lille, Limoges and Poitiers before heading off to Portugal, Sweden and Switzerland.

In between touring, Timberlee has made it her duty to record a number of new tracks for her fans. Chief among them is her current heavily rotated song Duppy – which she also recently shot a video for -, recorded on the heavy-hitting Ward 21 rhythm Dutty Fowl.

“That track really speaks about my return to dancehall. I was away for a while but now I am back and I have no intentions of slowing down,” she said.

Other new tracks include Money Fi It on the Spook rhythm, and the Adde Productions single Wizard of Oz.
