Vybz Kartel Murder Trial Stalled AGAIN, Push To Tomorrow

Vybz Kartel saw another court date goes up in smoke today.

The “Benz Punany” deejay’s murder trial in relation to the murder of Barrington “Bossie” Burton was scheduled to get underway today (July 9) but that didn’t happen.

Yesterday a Home Circuit Court judge rescheduled the trial to today, however, prosecutors told reporters this morning that the courtroom was unavailable to accommodate Vybz Kartel’s trial.

The case is now set for Wednesday, July 10, but fans can expect another delay since this has become the norm.

Vybz Kartel, born Adidja Palmer, was charged with the murder of Burton, who is a promoter/businessman from St. Catherine.

Detectives say Burton was shot and killed in July of 2011 while standing with friends in Gregory Park, St. Catherine.

Nigel Thompson and Lenburgh McDonald are also charged with said murder.
