Timbaland Talks Reconciling With Jay-Z, Drug Addiction, Magna Carta [VIDEO]
Timbaland says Jay-Z‘s new album Magna Carta Holy Grail is the rap titan’s best work of art.
Timbaland, who produced most of the tracks on the album, says he had to reconciled with the rap legend after a past fallout.
“It was over petty stuff,” Timbaland told Revolt. “It was more personal stuff, disagreements. It was not no industry-related. It was more personal and I was wrong. I was wrong. When I was working with Justin [Timberlake on his The 20/20 Experience album], he sent me a text. ‘We need to talk. We need to hook back up.’”
Timbaland also opened up about Jay-Z’s new album Magna Carta Holy Grail, calling it his best work ever.
“This is the best Jay-Z album,” Timbaland said. “I told him, I said, ‘All The Blueprint, those were good. But this is your first, first big album for the new millennium.”
The producer/rapper also discussed his addiction to Oxycontin.
