The oft-delayed Dennis Brown tribute concert has a new date and fans are hoping it will happen this time.
According to organizers, the new date for the concert is set for Sunday, March 17.
The highly anticipated event was organized by Jamaica Reggae Industry Association (JaRIA), the Dennis Emmanuel Brown Trust, and Leggo Records.
The concert has already postponed twice due to lack of funding and also issues with the venue.
However, organizers has indicated that those glitches were ironed. The new venue for the event is Kingston Waterfront.
Reggae lovers can expect some solid performances from the likes of Tarrus Riley, Beres Hammond, Freddy McGregor, Mighty Diamonds, Junior Reid, Lloyd Parks & We the People Band, Errol Dunkley, Big Youth, Iba Mahr, Richie Stephens, Carl Dawkins and more.
The show starts at 5:00 p.m.
