Rihanna is well on her way to create more history in music. The Bajan pop star may soon be one of the most top 10 charted females on Billboard Hot 100 history.

Rihanna’s latest single “Where Have You Been,” enters the top 10 at number 9 this week, up from 11 last week. RiRi released the video for the Calvin Harris-produced single last month, which help propelled it up the charts. This marks her 22nd top 10 charting single.

Pop queen, Madonna, holds the record for the most top 10 singles in Billboard history, with a whopping 38 over her 30-year career. Veteran singers Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston are still leading RiRi. However, these are artists with significantly longer career than Rihanna, whose first top 10 single, “Pon De Replay,” debut the chart in 2005.
