Billboard Music Awards paid a special tribute to the late music icon Whitney Houston at Sunday night’s show in Las Vegas. Singer John Legend performed “The Greatest Love of All,” while Jordin Sparks, who co-star with Whitney in Sparkle, performed a cover of Houston’s classic “I Will Always Love You.”
Whitney Houston’s 19-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina, was on hand to accept the Millennium Award on behalf of her mother.
“I just really want to say thank you to everyone who supported us through it all, not just from when it was good, but when it was bad, to just everything,” Kristina said. “Thank you so much for showing that much love ’cause she deserved it. I’m just blessed to have been in such an incredible woman’s life. There will never be another one, ever.”
