LIME Drops Potential Kidd, Says Lyrics Too Explicit

Dancehall newcomer Potential Kidd has lost his new endorsement deal with Telecom giant LIME.

The “Yah Suh Nice” deejay scored the deal with the company recently after his single debut single goes viral.

However, LIME Jamaica’s Managing Director, Garry Sinclair, said the company dropped the artiste from their Champs promotion after a deeper analysis of the lyrics of his song.

“What we would want is for our artistes to express themselves freely but responsibly, and we think civil society can play a big role in this regard,” Sinclair said in a statement.

Potential Kidd has since apologize for any harm the lyrics may have cause to any person.

“I do not support violence against women or homosexuals,” Kidd said.

The Trench Town deejay dropped the visuals for his break through single “Yah Suh Nice.”
