Stephen Marley Wins The 2012 Grammy For Best Reggae Album

Reggae royalty Stephen Marley won the Grammy for Best Reggae album this evening for his critically acclaimed Revelation Pt 1: The Root Of Life.
Stephen beat out older brother Ziggy Marley as well as Shaggy, Israel Vibration and Monty Alexander to take home the prestigious award.
This win marks Stephen Marley’s third Grammy. In 2008 Stephen won the Grammy for his critically acclaimed debut solo album, Mind Control. He won again in 2010 with his follow up the acoustic version of Mind Control.
Marley’s album Revelation Part 1 features guest appearances from brothers Ziggy and Damian Marley, Capleton, Buju Banton, Wale and Melanie Fiona.
Part two of the album will be released later this year.

A Marley get’s another one…surprised? not really b/c the album is very well produced and keeps the reggae vibes throughout. Jah Army, Pale Moonlight (played on HI radio 24/7), Made in Africa, Tight Ship, Selassie is the Chapel, etc are all great songs.
