Drake’s “Take Care” To Feature Rick Ross & Lil Wayne, Reveals First Single

Young Money star Drake has revealed some of the guests on his upcoming sophomore album Take Care, due October 24th.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Drizzy said Rick Ross and Lil Wayne are major guest on the album.

Drake says he also wants to collaborate with DJ Premier, Florence + the Machine’s Florence Welch, The Weeknd and the xx’s Jamie Smith.

During Rolling Stone visit to Drake’s apartment in Toronto, he played the likely album opener “Shot for Me,” described as a “marvel of melancholy bravado” where he sings, “bi–h, I’m the man.” Rick Ross makes a guest appearance on “Free Spirit” that touts the refrain, “Tat my name on you so I know it’s real,” while Lil Wayne appears on “The Real Her,” a “narcotically woozy love song with detuned pianos.”

Drake is also gearing up to release the first official single off his sophomore album Take Care.

“Headlines,” produced by frequent collaborators Matthew “Boi-1da” Samuels and Noah “40” Shebib, serves as the first single, which Drake promised would arrive in a few weeks earlier this month.

Drizzy hinted at the title in a tweet, later revealed by Serm Knight and confirmed by producers Chase N Cashe.

“Drake – Headlines (Prod. By Boi-1Da and 40). Doesn’t sound R&B-ish.” (Drake Twitter)
