Robert Livingston, former manager of reggae/dancehall star Shaggy, has stepped forward to confirm a split between the two.

In a recent interview with Irie FM radio station, the Big Yard entertainment CEO says he no longer manages the international reggae veteran.

According to Livingston, he and Shaggy didn’t have an official conversation about the split, they have been doing there own thing. Livingston added that the two just weren’t seeing “eye to eye,” after almost two decades of working together.

Shaggy and Robert Livingston’s partnership dates back to 1993 and got rocky in 2010. Shaggy is one of reggae music’s most commercially successful artist, with over 20 million copies of a single album sold worldwide.
