Dancehall star Vybz Kartel made good on his promise to launch his own branded Cake Soap in Jamaica.
Late last year Urban Islandz told you that the Portmore Empire boss was making plans to manufacture and sell his own version of the popular Cake Soap (laundry soap).
Although Vybz Kartel taunt the new soap as an acne cleansing bar, fans are already referring to it as a bleaching product.
“This new Vybz Kartel cake soap is bad for Jamaicans, this is only telling people it is okay to bleach for your own material gain,” a fan told Urban Islandz on facebook. “Shame on you Vybz Kartel.”
The soap is reportedly available for sale in Kingston and Falmouth, with plans to release the product island-wide.
