B.o.B Experiments With Reggae On Upcoming Album “It’s pretty big”

B.o.B is the latest Hip Hop star to incorporate reggae sound on their records.

The Atlanta rapper has a new Jim Jonsin produced track called “Rule The World” with a reggae sound. Jonsin said the song could be the first hit single from the rapper upcoming sophomore album.

In an interview with Rap-Up.com, Jonsin said: “We cut four songs and there’s two that I really like. One record has like a reggae vibe to it, hip-hop with some reggae. It’s pretty big. I think that’s a possible single.”

B.o.B is still working on the album’s sound.

“He’s kinda figuring out the direction and I’m hoping to close out with him to do another three or four songs before the album’s done,” Jonsin said.

B.O.B debut album was packed with features but the producer warned that he’s going down the Nicki Minaj route, and probably won’t be featuring too many guests on the sophomore LP.

He said: “I don’t think he’s doing as many features. I think most of his singles will be him and he just wants the fans to hear a lot more of him on this album. It’s gonna be incredible.”

Earlier this year rapper Drake hint that he will be doing an all reggae album.
