Young Money star Drake earns himself the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame Hal David Starlight Award.

According XXL mag, Drizzy is set to receive the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame Hal David Starlight Award, which honors those artists who have impacted the music industry to some capacity with their songwriting skills. The award will be given to Drake on June 16 at the 42nd Annual Induction and Awards Dinner.

“Drake shines as a talented songwriter with a unique vision, and we are pleased to honor him with the prestigious Hal David Starlight Award,” said Songwriting Hall of Fame chairman Jimmy Webb.

John Legend and Alicia Keys are two other notable artists that the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame awarded with the Hal David Starlight Award.
