Michael Jackson’s Dad May Have Ruined His $500 million Lawsuit

. ..

Michael Jackson’s father, Joe Jackson may have scuppered his chances of getting his hand on $500 million in damages from his lawsuit against Dr. Conrad Murray by making a statement that his son didn’t support him during a TV appearance.

Jackson was speaking on a TV show in Brazil, where he told the host that his son “never supported me”, reports TMZ.

As previously reported, his case against Murray claims that he has lost support from his son and there for entitled to seek damages.

But, while on ‘Hoje em Dia’, the interview asked: “According to TMZ, you were being supported by Michael.” But, Jackson said: “No, he never supported me.”

Michael Jackson did not say he supported his father, and this could have a damaging effect on the wrongful death lawsuit which Joe Jackson filed against the physician.

Joe’s statement means that now he can’t really show that he lost financial support when Jackson died.

According to TMZ, the ‘Thriller’ singer didn’t support his father, but he did give his mother between $50,000 – $66,000 a month and she would then give Joe cash from that. Joe Jackson was not in Michael Jackson’s will.
