Both longtime rivals Mavado whose real name is David Brooks and Vybz Kartel whose real name is Adidja Palmer was release from custody after lawyers representing both artist ask for them to be release or charged.
Both artist spend last night in jail after police officers yesterday named them as persons of interest. Vado and Kartel turned themselves in said day, however, they were not questioned until today.
Police said both men wield considerable influence in the communities of Big Yard and Cassava Piece, which run off Mannings Hill Road. The cops say they were being questioned about several serious crimes that have been committed in the communities in recent times.
