Dancehall veteran Future Fambo along with the musical family Big Ship rocked Canada two weekends ago with some solid performance.

Fambo, who is perhaps the biggest comeback story of 2010 delivered just what the fans want. While the Big Ship family comprise of Laden, Chino, Stephen Di Genius and captain Freddie McGregor continues their streak of solid performances this year.

The show Reggaelution was staged by PFB Entertainment on October 29 inside the Government Entertainment Complex in Toronto and the following night in Montreal.

Weighing in on his performance, Fambo told the Jamaica Observer its Fambo’s Canada.

“Right now, it’s Fambo’s Canada,” he said with a laugh. “My job was to get the crowd excited and give them their money’s worth and for me it was mission accomplished,” Fambo said, adding, “I am on a natural high. It is so overwhelming. About eight months ago Freddie (McGregor) said to me ‘Fambo, you going to be blessed this year’ and I am proving that now,” the deejay said soberly. (Jamaica Observer)

Last month Urban Islandz told you that Fambo collaboration with Beenie Man “Rum & Redbull” is easily one of the biggest songs of the year in dancehall. Since release over the summer, the song has secured a nice portion of the airwaves and has been steadily climbing the charts.

Rum & Redbull now lands at the top of the BBC 1Xtra dancehall charts. An elated Fambo told Jamaican journalists that he is pleased with the response he is getting.
