During his extensive tour of Europe recently, Vybz Kartel did an interesting interview with Robbo Ranx of BBC 1Xtra radio while in Amsterdam.
Kartel spoke on a number of topics including influencing skyrocket sales of Clarks, impact on fashion trends with jeans n fitted and his social responsible to society as an artist. For the most part Vybz handled the interview well, but still manage to raised eyebrows on some issues.
Robbo ask Kartel about his social responsibility of being such an influencial artist and Kartel response speaks for itself.
“If you, as an adult, or a parent is depending on Vybz Kartel to grow your child, you have already lost.”
Kartel also spoke about owning dancehall this year, in terms of numerous hits and airplays and also speak of Popcaan as the new Vybz Kartel in dancehall.
