Gyptian Nominated For 2010 MOBO Award “It’s Been A Good Year”

Reggae newest heavy weight Gyptian is nominated for the 2010 MOBO Award for ‘Best Reggae Artist of the Year’. The contemporary reggae crooner also sees his hit single, “Hold Yuh”, spin into rotation on the world’s largest Top 40 radio station, Z100 WHTZ, in New York.

The Music of Black Origin or MOBO Awards are held annually in the U.K. and is the first awards show in Europe to honor urban music. Gyptian shares the nomination with fellow VP Records artist, Gappy Ranks. The awards ceremony takes place on October 20 in Liverpool.

Gyptian told Urban Islandz, “Its been a good year for me, and mi juss love the vibe am getting here in Jamaica and abroad.”
